6/17/2017 - The Valencia Vikings Football Team sailed into Newbury Park's Panther stadium in the Conejo Valley today and took exactly what they wanted; the Conejo Classic Championship!

In the morning pool play session, the Vikings took care of business against Ventura, Taft and Camarillo, finishing the AM session 3-0.

Their pool play dominance secrued a bye in the first round of tournament play and they quickly dismantled Viewpoint High of Calabasas in their first game. Next up was Calabasas High and the Vikings continued their dominance, scoring early and keeping Calabasas off balance on their way to another victory.

The Championship game came against Westlake High who had the pleasure of a long break period before the final game. That didn't seem to phase the Vikings as they continued to surge and started the game with 3 quick touchdowns while holding Westlake at bay. The Vikings powered through some adversity but never gave up the lead on their way to the Conejo Classic Title!

Great Job Vikings!!!! Now that's what I call a GREAT FATHER'S DAY GIFT!
